New Home of TMF

You want a dynamic community? Great, help make one by participating. Ask questions, give advice, tell stories, whatever. All that TMF can do is provide a platform. It is up to us to make of it what we will, or don’t. Perhaps you don’t see old familiar faces, so become one, and find new ones.

Not worth it. Scads of us had the plug pulled on our wonderful, vibrant community in around 2013 or so. Most of us had known each other for years by then, but the majority of us only knew each other by our usernames.
We never heard from each other again. If you have friends here, make sure you know who each other is before the Gardners mercilessly destroy your online community too.

Oops. I guess it’s already happening.

@notyouagain

So why are you here?

You are free to look up my other posts. I don’t recall how I came to visit here. I’m certain I won’t be much of a bother for long.

Somehow I stumbled into the “The new home of TMF” post and I got curious. Then I saw some folks posting elsewhere who were startled and dismayed that entire boards along with all their history and all their friends had been dumped sparing only this “Saul” guy.

Don’t worry, I won’t stick around very long. Make friends on a platform with a history of treating its users like that?

I imagine my comments here so far will probably get me barred or blocked or something.

So I don’t think I’ll get too attached.

Besides, I don’t know how I wound up posting a comment in a category called “millionaire fools.”
I’m no millionaire. I was just looking around and then I happened to see “The new home of TMF” post.
So far, I’ve found some disappointed people here who have seen huge chunks of their history that reflected countless hours of time and effort on their part simply erased.

And I just thought I’d inform them that, hey, this isn’t the first time.

With Millionaire Fools a silent graveyard (for now) I have an idea. Millionaires want to keep their life private frequently. Yet… they may have some investing interests with some distinctions from earlier stage investors that they enjoy to share with each other.

To make it more upbeat, it could be titled “From one million to one billion”. It could emphasise the difficulty investors have once reaching a certain milestone to get to a higher milestone, with social pressure of mediocrity, bankers and lawyers ripping you off and so one.

I don’t want to disturb anyone happy with this forum, but for only those are leaving entirely, the old system is still available at shrewdom.com.

I have added the more upbeat millionaire board here:
