Office 365/Outlook vs dotmac email!
In the midst of chasing music, i hd to change my AppleID, and along the way my .mac email in Outlook stopped working. So from days of old, to try to fix, I deleted that Account. Tried Adding the .mac back into Outlook, now, even with the correct new password, it or Apple, refuses to Authenticate, add the .mac account.
it’s still working on my iPhone, or in iCloud online, so it seems to be Microsoft’s Outlook is the blockade…
Not sure whether to call Apple or Microsoft!

I’ve tried the App Specific password generation yesterday, didn’t work…

OK, made it OK again, using the App Specific password routine… Outlook 365 is once again OK with my Dotmac email… All greens again… Messy, but it works… Mostly spam on the account, but filtered to the Deleted folder via my Rules…
