Returning to Paid Boards

Over on the paid side, in the top-most bar, is Switch to free.

There used to be a corresponding Switch on the free side to go to the paid boards. It is not there, at least for me, at the moment.
I go back and forth using those links, or at least I have until now. Please restore the link from free to paid, and keep them both as long as we have both sets of boards.

Thanks!

Hey @RHinCT

I’m seeing the links on both sites…did they show back up for you while I was out or are they still missing? They’re driven by account security data so they have been known to disappear if the security is updated, sometimes that just needs refreshing.

Sorry, no change.

Hi @CMFMints,

This is what I see. Can you point it out to me?

Using Firefox 149.0 on Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS with Xfwm4 as the window manager:

Versus: I see the option here for Free

Gene
All holdings and some statistics on my Fool profile page
Profile - gdett2 - Motley Fool Community (Click Expand)

Should be right next to your icon in the upper right. I’ll have tech dig into why it’s missing. Last time it went missing it’s because they made a change to the security settings.

FWIW, Firefox on Windows 11.

Firefox is up to date

149.0 (64-bit)

Since you mentioned security, I thought I might try logging out and back in. If there is anywhere to log out on the free side I can’t find that either. I went to the paid side, but within https://community.fool.com I couldn’t find logging in/out either. So I went to fool.com, and eventually logged out and back in. No change.

I don’t think it’s anything logging in or out will fix…it’s a setting that they may have changed on your profile behind the scenes.

But if you want to try logging out, click your picture in the top right, select the Profile button (human icon) and select log out.

Hi gdett2,

If you’re still not seeing the button for moving between free and paid (and it may be something they’re working to fix), try logging in with another browser. There are issues I’ve been finding with Safari, but the problem isn’t there when trying with Chrome. Perhaps another browser can be a temporary fix. Just a thought.
