That phrase has double meaning.
It is both a statement of how long I’ve enjoyed all of you and the interactions on this board, and a goodbye salutation.
I very much appreciate each and every one of you.
I assume that I’ll see some of you on whatever financial boards might remain. But, those environments will not be the same as here.
I thank you all for your comments and knowledge, and especially for you willingness to help me and others with our computer and IT issues.
I salute you!
I assume the paid service boards will remain. Perhaps that’s an option to be explored?
I wish you all the very best as time rolls forward.
Whatever happens, we’ll see.
Jen,
Why this board remains exempt and not the Apple- AFAIK. They’re both computers and necessary that the work properly for investment/financial access.
At a guess, I’d think this board is about all computers and that board is about Apple computers. They should be welcome here for computer issues but I don’t know if the rest of us would be welcome there for issues with non-Apple computers.

I have never felt very welcome on this board. I get the feeling if I do not run Windows that I do not belong. So I think of it as a Windows board.
There is a Linux board, but it seems it will be disabled soon. There are very few posts on it, from which I infer that there are very few Linux users, or that they have very few problems. I do not know which.
I did not go to “Apple iOS Help” for the computer. I have Windows desktops so I came here. I went there for the help on iPads and iPhones. If that board does indeed close, I will miss it.

I have ALWAYS welcomed your input, comments, and inspirations.
I knew that Apple users felt “different”… but, I didn’t realize that Linux users also felt “different” and ostracized.
I’ve a good snail world friend who Nix’s.
It doesn’t seem to cause us any grief.
I suspect my next car will have the ticker TSLA.
Therefore I may feel ostracized?
